Users, roles & permissions

What it does

Add team members by email invitation or create them directly, then assign a role. Roles are made of granular permissions, so you can build custom roles (e.g. ‘Auditor’ who can audit but not edit catalogue). Owners and admins can reset passwords and enable/disable users.

Step by step

1. Go to Settings → Users and click Invite or Add user.
2. Enter their name, email and (optionally) mobile with country code.
3. Pick a role — or open Roles to create a custom one and tick permissions.
4. Invited users set their own password from the email link.
5. Manage anyone later: update profile, set password, send a reset link, enable/disable or remove.

Tips & good practice

• Give people the least access they need — use custom roles.
• Mobile numbers can be used to sign in (one-time code emailed to the user).
• Disable a user instead of deleting if they may return.
