Exit-gate security

What it does

An RFID exit gate (UDM9R reader + buzzer) reads tags as goods pass and checks each against approved movements. If something leaves unbilled, the buzzer sounds and the event is logged — stopping walk-outs and shrinkage at the door.

Step by step

1. Install the gate reader at your exit and connect the gate agent.
2. Approved documents (invoices / packages / transfers) define what may leave.
3. As tagged goods pass, the gate checks each unit in real time.
4. Unbilled or unknown tags trigger the buzzer and a DENY event.
5. Review all gate events on the web Gate screen.

Tips & good practice

• Place the reader so every exit path passes through its field.
• Keep approved documents up to date so legitimate goods pass cleanly.
• Gate security is included on the Enterprise plan.
